Although Brentsville has grown from a single-A school with 600 students in grades 6-12 - as it was when Earman attended - to a AA school with 1,000 students in grades 9-12, the small-town feel is still there, Earman said. More recently, from 2002 to 2004, Earman was AD at Heritage High in Leesburg, but left to take the assistant principal job at Brentsville because it was closer to her home in Nokesville.Įarman said she had fond memories of her time as an athlete and cheerleader at Brentsville, adding that what stood out most was the way the community rallied around the small school. "I feel qualified in all the parts of the job."Įarman has worked as an activities director before, most notably at Manassas Park, at the time a Bull Run District rival of Brentsville, from 1998 to 2002. Cameron said he was retiring, I said, 'Wow, this is where I wanted to go,' " Earman said. Earman had played softball and basketball and was a cheerleader for the Tigers in the 1970s, and she still had a passion for the school's athletic program.Įarman was named Brentsville's new activities director this month.
